Creating a Sign-up Page

Sign-up pages are an important part of law firm websites. They enable clients to stay engaged by receiving alerts, newsletters, and other resources.  By engaging clients, firms encourage repeat business and referrals. Below are tips for creating a sign-up page and links to samples. For more information, see articles about engagement, marketing, newsletters, podcasts, and webinars.

Tips
Access - include a link to the subscription page in the website directory and footer.
Archive - create an archive of past issues.
Compliance - require confirmation to comply with privacy regulations.
Design - require only essential information (e.g. name and email address).
Header - explain benefit of sign up in header (e.g. keeping up to date on legal trends).
Landing - create a standalone URL and include it in bios, email signatures, social media, etc.
